Some couples pick a song. This one picked a pair of foxes. A young couple chose two little foxes as the talisman of their relationship, sent us their picture, and we sewed the foxes from it by hand. These are couple plushies in the plainest sense: one fox for each of them, made from their own idea.

Nothing on this page is stock. Every fox plush we make is made to order for the person who asks, from their picture and their wishes, so yours would be a different pair.

Meet the two foxes

The first is a classic orange fox: long and low, with white trim along the chest and belly, black-tipped ears, black socks with little orange paw prints, and a face that's half orange, half cream. Eyes closed in a sleepy smile, pink cheeks, a tiny red tongue.

The second fox is pale cream and a bit of a fairy tale. It has soft turquoise antlers, a shaggy white mane around the ears, a turquoise stripe down the back and turquoise pads on black paws. Same sleepy smile, same pink cheeks. Put them nose to nose and the two faces meet in the middle, which is how they spend most of their photos.

Two toys that belong together

That's the idea behind matching plushies for couples: a pair that only makes full sense side by side. They don't have to be twins. Here one is a plain orange fox and the other wears antlers. Same animal, two characters.

Those two foxes are now part of this young couple's own story, and they're set to stay with the two of them for a long time.

Your pair, from your picture

If you have your own version in mind, a sketch is enough to start. Maybe it's two cats, a fox and a raccoon, or the little characters you doodle for each other in notes. We turn it into a plush from your own drawing and send you photos of the finished pair before it ships. A heart with a name or a small message tag can go on too.

Materials used

Both foxes are sewn from soft plush fabric with a smooth, matte surface. It holds crisp edges, so the black ear tips, the white trim and the little paw prints stay neat instead of going fuzzy.

The cream fox gets one extra texture: a long white faux fur mane that sticks out around the ears and falls over the forehead.

Inside is soft stuffing, so both foxes drape and flop like the long, lazy animals they are. Everything we use is safe and eco-friendly.

Lead time

A pair like this usually takes 2–4 weeks. The range depends on the design and keeps a little room for the surprises handmade work always brings.

Two toys means two sets of patterns, worked out from your picture, then cut, sewn, stuffed and finished one by one. The faces come last: the closed eyes, the cheeks, and the two noses that have to meet in the middle.

You get photos of both foxes before they're packed, so you see exactly what's coming.

Delivery

We ship worldwide. Once the foxes leave us, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country and how quickly your customs office works.

Around Christmas and other holidays the post slows down everywhere, so add some time if the pair has a date to arrive by.

If the foxes are meant for an anniversary, Valentine's Day or a wedding, tell us the date when you order. We'll say straight away whether it fits, and you'll know before any sewing starts.
