Fluffy Star is a custom MLP plush we sewed in 2024. Ponies from My Little Pony are popular toys, but you won't find this one in the show. Fluffy Star came to us as a picture from the customer: a pony in graphite grey, with wings like a bat's.
So the pony was made to order for one person, from that one picture. Nobody else has one, and nothing like it sits on a shelf waiting.
Why a bat pony
Bat ponies get only a short moment in Friendship Is Magic, in "Luna Eclipsed", the Nightmare Night episode from 2011. Fans took it from there and gave them names and stories of their own. People sew bat pony plush for conventions and commission them for their shelves, and an MLP OC plush of your own character is the next step.
What we put into Fluffy Star
- A graphite grey body with a soft, slightly mottled look
- A long green mane and tail that fall almost to the floor
- Big green eyes with slit pupils and long lashes
- Grey bat wings and black tufts on the tips of the ears
- Three yellow stars for the cutie mark
- Black socks on the hind legs, trimmed with a thin gold line
Fluffy Star stands on all four hooves and can also sit with the front legs stretched out, so it works on a shelf or in your arms.
Your pony next
Maybe you have an OC you drew years ago, a pony from a fan comic, or a show pony in colours you like better. Send us the picture and tell us the details that matter: wings, horn, cutie mark, socks, the way the mane falls. Pick a size on the order form, from small to huge, and we'll quote you. You'll see photos of the finished pony before it ships.
More characters people invented themselves are in OC Plush. For ponies from the show, look at our Princess Luna and King Sombra. We're an independent studio, not official Hasbro.
Fluffy Star's body is sewn from premium soft plush in graphite grey. It has a light mottled pattern.
- A long green synthetic mane and tail
- Black faux fur tufts on the ear tips
- Bat wings cut from the same grey plush, with stitched ridges
- Yellow stars for the cutie mark and big green eyes with lashes
- Black socks on the hind legs with a gold edge
- Hypoallergenic filling
Your pony can have other colours, a horn, feathered wings instead of bat wings, poseable legs or an embroidered name. Tell us at the start, because these go in while we sew.
A pony like this usually takes 2–4 weeks.
First we work out the pattern from your picture. Ponies look simple, but the head shape, the eyes and the wing size decide whether it reads as your character. Then we cut and sew the body, add the mane and tail and finish the face.
The time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. If the pony is for a birthday or a convention, tell us the date in your first message.
Shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post slows down, so allow a few extra days.
A custom pony makes a good gift for a friend who has drawn the same OC for years, or for yourself. If it's a Christmas present, order by November 1.
Before the pony leaves us, we send you photos of the finished toy. Hold them up next to your picture and tell us if anything should change.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009, from cartoon characters to ponies that exist only in one person's sketchbook.
With an OC, the customer is the only one who really knows what the character looks like. That's why you see your pony in photos before shipping, while there's still time to adjust a detail.
If the pony arrives and it doesn't feel like your character, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
