What it's made of
The body is olive green with a round head, a stitched "w" mouth and thin whiskers. The antennae are dark brown and stand up stiff. Its wings are a darker olive brown, and each one carries a black, white and grey eyespot. Real moths use spots like these to startle birds. On a keychain they mostly startle your friends.
The eyes do most of the work. In daylight they're glossy cream domes with pink rims. In the dark they turn a cool blue-green, which is the photo people ask about first.
Keychain or desk buddy
It stands on its own two stubby legs, so it can sit on a shelf when it isn't riding on your keys. One arm is up in a little wave and stays that way.
Your version can be different. A bigger moth cat to hug, other wing colors, a fluffier body, a tail. Eyes that glow in the dark, or LED eyes you switch on. The moth cat is sewn from soft olive-green fleece for the head and body, with darker olive-brown fabric for the wings. The antennae are dark brown and firm, so they stay upright on a keychain that swings around all day.

A small creature like this usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
First we turn your idea into a pattern. A cat head on a moth body needs its own shapes for the wings, the antennae and the joint where the head meets the body. Then we cut and sew, stitch the face and set the eyes. On a keychain-size head, a few millimeters decide whether the mouth looks smug or worried.
The time frame includes a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you need it by a certain date, mention it in your first message.
When your moth cat is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post slows down, so add a few days.
