This realistic kitten plush is a fluffy ginger tabby with brown spots on the face, legs and tail, light blue eyes and a pink nose. On the grass, from a few steps away, he passes for a real kitten.
You can't pick him off a shelf, though. Every toy we sew is made to order, for one person and the cat they have in mind.
Not a cartoon cat
People who collect cat plush say it often: a decent orange cat plush that doesn't look cartoony is hard to find. This one was built the other way round, starting from how a real kitten looks and moves:
- long, soft ginger and cream faux fur, with darker brown-ginger spots and stripes placed by hand
- a thick, bushy tail with ginger bands, raised straight up when he stands
- round light blue eyes, a small pink nose and a fluffy cheek ruff
- soft paws with pink toe pads, which you see when he rolls onto his back
He's small. In one photo he sits on an open hand, tail hanging over the wrist. In others he lies on the grass, stands with his tail up, and sprawls belly-up on a brown rug with his paws in the air, like kittens do.
Your cat, as a kitten again
Maybe your own cat is long grown, or gone, and you miss the tiny fluffball he was. Send us a few clear photos: the face from the front, the side, the tail and any markings. Tell us the eye colour and how long the coat is. We'll match the spots and stripes to your cat, not to a template.
You get a free quote first, and photos of the finished toy before it ships. A realistic kitten like this starts from $420. Poseable legs are possible on request.
Want to compare? See our long-haired Persian cat plush, browse more realistic stuffed animals, or look at the pet plushies we've sewn from owners' photos.
The kitten is mostly long-pile faux fur, coloured and shaded so the tabby pattern looks grown, not printed.
- Ginger and cream faux fur with a long, soft pile on the body, cheeks and tail
- darker brown-ginger spots and stripes on the face, legs and tail, placed by hand
- round light blue eyes and a small pink nose
- shaped paws with pink toe pads underneath
For your kitten we match the fur to your photos: short or long coat, ginger, cream, tabby, spotted, tortie, any mix. Eye colour is yours to choose. Poseable legs are possible on request, and you tell us the size you'd like at the start.
A realistic kitten usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
Most of that time goes into the coat and the face. Every spot and stripe has to sit where it sits on the real cat, and the eyes have to be set at the right angle. A few millimetres decide whether he looks like a kitten or a cartoon.
The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you need him for a birthday or another date, say so in your first message.
Once your kitten is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post runs slower, so leave a few extra days.
Want him under the tree? Order by November 1 for Christmas.
Before he ships, you get photos of the finished toy. Compare the markings, the eyes and the tail with your photos and tell us if anything should change. He leaves the studio only after you say yes.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009. With realistic cats, small things matter most: one stripe in the wrong place and it's somebody else's cat.
That's why you see him in photos before he's sent, while there's still time to move a spot or adjust an ear.
If he arrives and you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days. No long explanations needed.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
