What she looks like
Her round body is covered in long white faux fur that fluffs up when you shake her. Her wings stick straight out to the sides, shaggy at the tips. Two flat orange feet with long toes keep her standing.
The face does the talking. A red comb runs from the top of her head down between the eyes, two long red wattles hang on either side of the beak, and the eyes are big white domes with black pupils. Each eye has a ring of pointy black lashes, so she always looks a little surprised. The beak is glossy and open, with a pink tongue inside.
Funny, not realistic

First comes the pattern for the round body and the feet, because she has to stand on her own. Then the fur gets cut and sewn so the pile runs the same way on both wings.
The face is last. The tilt of the eyes and the length of the lashes decide whether she looks curious or downright shocked, so we take our time there.
