Bear and Cat. Two cheerful friends from a cartoon, and at the end of 2013 we sewed them as a pair: a cartoon bear plush and his friend, a grey cartoon cat plush. Both were made to order. We don't keep ready toys on a shelf. Every one starts with a picture someone sends us.
Two characters, one style
A pair is harder than two single toys. The bear and the cat have to look like they come from the same cartoon, so we kept the same build for both: a big round head, a large black nose, a short body in a T-shirt and long, thin legs.
Then they split apart. The bear is shaggy brown faux fur with darker patches, round wide-open eyes and dark red cheeks. He wears an orange T-shirt and green shorts and holds up one paw like he's saying hi. The cat is soft grey, with her eyes shut in a happy grin, a white muzzle, pink cheeks with whisker stitches and a few black hairs sticking up on top of her head. Red-orange T-shirt, blue shorts.
Put them side by side and they lean toward each other a little. That's the friendship part, and it matters as much as the noses.
Your cartoon duo
Lots of cartoon characters never got a toy, and pairs get one even less often. If two characters from a cartoon belong together in your house, send us screenshots of both. We work out what the screen never shows (backs, feet, how the head sits on the body), and we agree size and fabrics with you before we start.

The filling is soft and hypoallergenic. We use only faux fur, never real fur. Colors, fur length and size can follow your cartoon, and extras like a sound module or an embroidered name are possible on request.
A pair like this usually takes 2–4 weeks.
We start from your screenshots and draw one pattern that both characters share, then change it where they differ: ears, muzzle, the cat's thinner legs. The clothes are cut and sewn separately. Faces go on last, because a millimeter in the eye or the smile changes the whole expression, and with two toys the expressions have to work together.
The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If the pair is for a birthday, put the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country and the courier. Around the holidays parcels move slower, so leave extra time.
For a gift, add the making time to the delivery time and count back from the day you need it. For Christmas, order by November 1.
You get photos of the finished bear and cat before they ship. Both travel in the same parcel, packed so the big heads and noses arrive in shape.
We've been sewing custom plush since 2009, and cartoon characters are a big part of that. The tricky bit never changes: a flat drawing has to become a toy with a back and a bottom and still look like itself.
You agree the details with us before we sew, and you see photos of the finished toys before they ship. If you don't love them, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
