This little bat is our first plush from AI art. A neural network drew the picture, and we sewed the toy from it by hand, made to order. That was in 2023. The creature has wings, pointy ears, a toothy grin and a face that's hard to stay serious around.
AI pictures of "plushies" are everywhere now. The catch is that most of them show a toy that doesn't exist. You can't order it, because nobody ever made it. We can.
From a generated picture to real fabric
The AI image shows a dark, fuzzy beast sitting on a wooden floor, with glowing pumpkins blurred behind it. Nice mood. But a picture has no seams, no pattern and no idea how a wing should hold its shape. So our job was to work out how each part could be built and still look like the picture.
- The fur became deep navy faux fur, with caramel on the muzzle and belly.
- The eyes sit on round black felt patches, the way they do in the image, with big glossy eyes on top.
- Two small white fangs and a black nose finish the grin.
- The wings got a velvety black lining, cord "bones" and a scalloped felt edge.
And he got up on his hind legs. In the photos he looks like he's walking off somewhere to cause a bit of trouble.
Your AI art, sewn as a plush
The idea is simple: the neural network makes a picture from your request, and we sew it. Your character exists in one copy only, so the result is about as one-of-a-kind as a toy gets.
Send us the image you generated, or a few versions of it. Tell us what matters most: the face, the colours, the wings, the size. We will tell you honestly what changes in fabric. AI loves details that can't hold up in cloth, like wispy fur, glowing eyes or wings thin as paper. We find a sewn version of each that still reads the same. Before shipping you get photos to approve.

The body is sewn from soft short-pile faux fur in deep navy, with a caramel muzzle and belly. It keeps the bat's shape when he stands and still feels good in the hand.
The face is where the AI look lives:
- round black felt patches around the eyes, edged with stitching;
- large glossy black eyes and a black nose;
- a stitched black mouth with two small white fangs.
The wings have a velvety black lining, cord ribs and a scalloped black felt edge, so they look like a real bat wing. The ear tips are finished in black too.
On request we can add a wire frame for poseable wings, change the colours, or work in any other detail from your picture.
A plush like this usually takes 2-4 weeks to make.
Most of that time goes into the parts an AI picture never has to think about. We draw a pattern from the image, test how the wings and ears will hold, pick fur and felt to match the colours, and then sew and stuff everything by hand.
The face takes the longest. Eye patches, eyes and fangs have to sit just right, or the grin turns into a different character. Complex designs can take a little longer.
Delivery usually takes 7-20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays, mail can be slower, so leave some extra time.
A winged bat with fangs makes an easy Halloween present. For Christmas, please order by November 1 so the toy is made and shipped in time.
Before we post it, you see photos of the finished plush and approve them. Only then does it go into the box.
