Meet two very serious ducks. The yellow one frowns at you over a big knife. The purple one has little devil horns and folds his wings like he's already planning something. This duck with knife plush pair started as two stickers from a chat, and now they sit on a shelf looking just as unimpressed.

Relax, the knife is plush too. It's a stuffed fabric prop with a soft grey-blue blade and a dark blue handle, about as dangerous as a pillow.

Neither duck came off a shelf. We sew every toy to order, from the picture one person sends us, so these two exist because someone wanted their favorite stickers in real life.

Soft, but don't push it

The internet has loved a plush bird with a knife since 2016, when a photo of a little yellow toy holding a plastic knife went around with a caption about being soft but protecting your friends. People still call it "cute but deadly" and "a cutie with a threatening aura". These two stickers play the same joke, and so do the toys.

What we sewed

  • Yellow duck: bright yellow plush, thick black frowning brows, round button eyes, an orange-brown beak and dark blue feet, with the plush knife held under one wing
  • Purple duck: soft lilac plush, two small horns, the same angry brows, an orange beak, wings crossed on the chest just like in the sticker, and a round little tail

Both have a big round head on a chubby body, so they sit steady on a desk or a monitor stand.

Your sticker, your duck

The price is per duck. Order one, or the pair. Send us any sticker, emoji or meme you use in your chats and we'll draw a pattern from it. Different colors, a different prop, a name on the back, all fine. Before your toy ships, you get photos of it to approve.

We're an independent studio, not official merch from the sticker's artist or any messenger. More chat favorites live in Plush Stickers. If memes are your thing, there's also Pepe the Frog, the This Is Fine dog and the Cat in Bread.

Both ducks are sewn from soft short-pile plush: bright yellow for one, lilac for the other. The short pile keeps the sticker colors clean and lets the round heads, the horns and the folded wings hold their shape.

  • Black fabric for the frowning brows and the eyes, with a small white highlight in each eye
  • Orange plush for the beaks and dark blue fabric for the yellow duck's feet
  • A fully stuffed fabric knife: grey-blue blade, dark blue handle, nothing hard inside
  • Hypoallergenic filling, packed firm so each duck sits up on its own

Want a sound module, LED lights, an embroidered name or a different prop? Ask at the start, since extras go in while we sew.

A sticker duck like these usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.

First we turn a flat little picture into a pattern. A sticker shows one side only, so we work out the back, the tail and how the wings sit. Then come the body and the face. The face takes the longest, because a few millimeters in the angle of the brows decide whether you get "grumpy" or just "sleepy".

That time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If the ducks are a gift for a date, tell us in your first message.

Once your duck is ready, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post slows down, so allow a few extra days.

Thinking of a pair of grumpy ducks for Christmas? Order by November 1 so they make it in time.

Before anything ships, we send you photos of the finished toy. Check the brows, the beak and the knife, and tell us if something should change. We ship after you say yes.

We've been sewing toys to order since 2009. With a sticker toy, everyone already knows the face from the chat, so the expression has to match.

That's why you see your duck in photos before it ships. There's still time to make the brows angrier or the knife bigger.

If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days. No explanation needed.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
