This Pepe the Frog plush stands on his own two webbed feet, gives you a slow wave and looks at you with those heavy, sleepy eyes. Blue T-shirt, black shorts, big red lips. He's the comic frog, sewn as a soft toy.
We didn't have him on a shelf waiting for a buyer. Every toy we make is sewn to order, for one person and the version of the character they want.
The frog from Boy's Club
Pepe started out in Boy's Club, a comic Matt Furie posted on MySpace in 2005. He was one of four roommates, next to Andy, Brett and Landwolf, and his line "feels good man" escaped the comic and took over the internet. Since then people have drawn him in every mood there is: smug, sad, comfy, in costume. The blue T-shirt stayed.
That's the Pepe we went for here. The chill, goofy one.
What we sewed
- a round green head with two domed eye bumps and heavy lids
- white eyes with big glossy black pupils, looking a bit to the side
- thick red lips, stitched as a separate shape
- long thin arms with five long fingers on each hand
- long legs and big flat webbed feet that let him stand
- a blue short-sleeved T-shirt and black shorts
The long limbs give him a slightly muppet-like look, which fans of the "Pepe muppet" pictures will spot right away.
Your own Pepe
Want a sad Pepe, a smug one, Pepe in a hoodie or in your team's colors? Send us the picture you have in mind. We draw the pattern from it and send you photos of the finished toy before it ships.
We're an independent studio, not official Pepe merch from Matt Furie. Other internet favourites are in Popular Toys, like the This Is Fine dog plush. For a frog with a longer TV career, meet our Kermit the Frog plush.
Pepe is made of soft green plush fabric with a short, even pile, so his color stays bright and his shape stays clean. The face is where the detail goes.
- White eye shapes and glossy black pupils, set under padded green lids
- Red plush for the thick lips
- Royal-blue fabric for the T-shirt and black fabric for the shorts, cut and sewn like real little clothes
- Hypoallergenic filling, firm enough for him to stand on his flat feet
Your Pepe can get extras too. We can wire the arms and legs so you can pose them, add a sound module or LED lights, or embroider a name or a phrase on the shirt. Tell us at the start, because these go in while we sew.
A Pepe like this one usually takes 2–4 weeks to make.
The pattern comes first. Long thin legs and big feet have to carry the head, so the balance gets worked out before any fabric is cut. Then the body, the clothes and the face. The face takes longest: the angle of the lids and the curve of the lips decide whether you get chill Pepe or sad Pepe.
That time frame has a small reserve for handmade surprises. If you need him for a birthday or a stream, mention the date in your first message.
When your Pepe is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post gets slower, so allow a few extra days.
Want him as a Christmas present? Order by November 1 so he arrives in time.
Before he leaves us, you get photos of the finished toy. Check the eyes, the lips and the outfit and tell us if anything should change. He ships after you say yes.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009, and meme characters are a fun kind of job: everyone knows the face, so the face has to be right.
That's why you see your Pepe in photos before he ships. There's still time to make the eyes sleepier or the lips bigger.
If he arrives and you don't love him, you get a full refund within 14 days. You don't have to explain why.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
