A face that does the talking
The whole toy is basically one round lime-green head. It sits flat like a loaf, with two short front legs poking out at the bottom. The face is low and small: two white eyes with big black pupils, black stitched outlines that turn into angry brows, and a long frowning mouth. Three green stitches above the mouth make the frown crease, and a tiny stitch at each corner pulls the mood down a little more.
That's the hard part with emoticons. They're a few lines on a phone screen, and if one line moves, the toad looks sleepy or sad instead of annoyed. So the face is placed and stitched by hand, line by line, until it matches the picture.

This toad is sewn from short, soft lime-green plush. It's smooth to stroke and keeps the rounded shape clean, so the toy reads as one big friendly lump with a cross face.

A toad like this usually takes 2-4 weeks to make. A very big one, or a set of several emoticons from the same pack, can take longer.
Most of that time goes into the face. We build the pattern from your sticker, cut and sew the body, and then place the eyes and stitch every line of the expression by hand. A frown a few millimetres off is a different mood.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships. If it's for a birthday or an office party, put the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. After your toad leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country.
