What do you give a creative person who already has everything? Our clients found their answer in a custom anime doll of their good friend: a soft portrait doll that looks like him, and there's only one of it.
Nothing here comes off a shelf. Every doll is made to order for one person, from the photos and wishes you send us.
Drawn first, then sewn
It started on paper. Our artist drew the friend as an anime character and added the details the clients asked for. That sketch became the plan for the doll, and you'll find it at the end of the gallery.
The finished doll kept everything that makes him recognizable. Tall spiky brown hair. Heavy brows. Big square black glasses with clear lenses, the frames cut from faux leather and outlined with stitching. A little stubble is embroidered on his chin, and there's a calm half smile under it.
The outfit is part of the portrait too: a bright orange T-shirt with a logo on the chest, black shorts covered in a lettering print and slide sandals over plush toes. Quite a handsome lad, isn't he?
Anime style, real person
The anime look is about proportions. A big head, big eyes, a small body, and the face stays simple enough to read from across the room. What makes it a portrait is the stuff only friends notice: his haircut, his glasses, the clothes he always wears. We made this one in 2022.
How to order yours
Send us a few clear photos of the person, front and side if you have them, and tell us about the outfit, hobbies and anything they always carry. Our artist draws the anime version first, and the doll is sewn only after you approve the sketch. You'll also get photos of the finished doll before it ships.

This doll is soft all the way through. The head and body are sewn from cream plush fabric, and the spiky hair is long-pile brown faux fur that stands up in tufts.
- Felt for the eyes and brows, stitched on by hand
- Black faux leather for the glasses, with clear lenses in front of the eyes
- Orange plush T-shirt, black shorts and slide sandals, all sewn for the doll
- Soft hypoallergenic filling
Prints on the clothes can follow your photos. If your friend always wears a cap, a hoodie or a chain, tell us and we'll add it. Wire in the arms for posing and a sound module are possible on request too.
A custom anime doll usually takes 2–4 weeks.
The first step is the drawing. Our artist turns your photos into an anime character, and you approve the sketch before any fabric is cut. Then comes the pattern, the face (eyes, brows, glasses and every embroidered line are placed by hand), the hair and the outfit.
The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises. If the doll is for a birthday or another date, tell us in your first message.
Once the doll is finished, shipping takes 7–20 business days, depending on your country. Around the holidays the post slows down, so allow a few extra days.
Want it under the tree? Order by November 1.
Before it ships, you get photos of the finished doll. Check the glasses, the hair and the outfit against your friend, and tell us if anything should change. It goes out after you say yes.
We've been making toys to order since 2009, and portrait dolls are among the trickiest. People know their friends' faces by heart, so a wrong frame shape or hair color stands out right away.
That's why there are two checkpoints: you approve the sketch before we sew, and you see photos of the doll before it ships.
If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
