What to send
For a pet: a few phone photos from the front and the side, one of the face up close, and the pose you like. For any other animal: a drawing, a screenshot or a photo, plus the size you have in mind. We copy the markings, the eye colour and the expression as close as fabric allows. Faux fur only.

Pet stuffed animals

Dog replicas
The Shar Pei is mostly wrinkles, so the folds were shaped in the sewing to match the photos: over the forehead, down the cheeks, under the chin. Corgis, maltipoos, Jack Russells and whippets are on the same page, each one sewn from its owner’s photos. From $450. See all the dog replicas.
Custom cat plush
The black cat is a portrait of a real cat: short black faux fur, amber glass eyes and long whiskers, in the pose from the photos. A tabby with folded ears, a tuxedo cat with a bushy tail and a grey cat are on the custom cat plush page.
Memorial pets
When a pet is gone, the photos you have are enough. The Pekingese was made at the owner’s request in memory of a dog who had died: cream faux fur matched to the coat, a felted muzzle, handmade eyes and nose, on a cushion. From $450, no rush on your side. More on the memorial pets page.
Plush pet wall portraits
A pet for the wall instead of the sofa. The 3D pet portrait is a grey tabby, needle-felted from merino wool and set in a wooden frame, with a nose and claws of hand-painted clay. Made from one photo. From $415, on the plush pet wall portraits page.
Realistic stuffed animals
Wild animals as they really look. The fennec fox has ears bigger than its head, ginger faux fur that shades to white on the belly, and glass eyes. A felted fox, cats and a dinosaur keep it company. From $350, on the realistic stuffed animals page.
Plush faux taxidermy
An animal head for your wall, with nobody harmed. The moose head grins from its plaque, with blue eyes and fabric antlers; a mammoth, a zebra and a lemur hang next to it. From $500, on the plush faux taxidermy page.

No. Every toy is faux fur, wool or fabric. That includes the faux taxidermy heads: no animal is harmed, and no animal has to be, even a mammoth.
As close as fabric and wool allow. We match the fur to the coat, place the markings against your photos and choose glass eyes in the right colour. It is a handmade likeness, not an exact copy, and you see photos of the finished toy before it ships.

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
