A Custom Stuffed Animal of Your Pet
Sewn by hand in our studio from the photos of your dog, cat or any other pet
A custom pet stuffed animal is a plush copy of your own dog, cat or other pet, sewn by hand from the photos you send. Same coat, same markings, same eyes, as close as fabric and thread allow. Each one is made to order for one owner. Nothing here is waiting on a shelf.
Quick facts
- Price: from $390. The quote is free.
- Time: usually 2β4 weeks to sew, then 7β20 business days of delivery.
- Photos before it ships: you check the finished toy against your pet. If something is off, we fix it first.
- Full refund: if it arrives and you don’t love it, tell us within 14 days.
- Materials: faux fur only, never real fur. The stuffing is hypoallergenic.
- The studio: SKAZKODROM, sewing plush by hand since 2009, 2,100+ toys so far.
What photos to send
- A clear photo from the front, then the side and the back
- Close-ups of the markings, the eye colour and any little quirks, like a crooked ear or a white tip on the tail
- The size you’d like, and your date if there is one
Phone photos are fine. Old photos are fine too, if the pet is no longer with you.
How close does it get?
We copy the dog or cat you have, not a breed standard: the odd ear, the patch over one eye, the grey chin. Nobody knows that face better than you, so you see photos of the finished toy before it ships and tell us what to change. It’s a plush, so it will never be an exact copy. Prefer a cartoon-style version, simpler and cuter with big eyes? We sew those too, from the same photos. Send us the cartoon sketch you’d like, or have our artist draw one first as a plush-ready drawing.
What we make
- Dogs: a corgi, a maltipoo, a Spitz, a whippet, a Pekingese
- Cats: a grey longhair, a black cat, a fold-eared tabby
- Memorial pets: a plush or a needle-felted portrait of a pet who has passed
- Wall portraits: your pet’s head and paws leaning out of a wooden frame
- Realistic stuffed animals: any animal at all, sewn the same way

Pets We've Sewn From Photos
Dogs sewn from their owners’ photos

Lucky was made for a client who wanted a plush replica of his dog: black coat, a white chest, white paws and one ear up, one folded. It became a present and a keepsake full of memories.

The Spitz is small and cheerful, in fluffy ginger faux fur with a white chest ruff. The whippet is the opposite: short, smooth black plush that shows the narrow head and long legs, a grey chest patch, pale blue eyes and legs that bend, so it lies down with its paws stretched out like the real dog.
Three more dogs. A blue merle corgi with one blue eye and one brown, sewn patch by patch because a merle coat has no repeating pattern. A curly apricot maltipoo that sits up or lies on its back. And a black-and-tan dog with huge feathered ears and a poseable body. All of them started as someone’s phone photos.

Cats

The grey cat was sewn from photographs of a real cat: shaggy blue-grey fur, a white chest, whisker dots and big eyes that look up at you. The black cat has short black fur and golden eyes, made to look like one particular pet.

The tabby has folded ears, green eyes and a pink tongue poking out, because that’s how the cat in the photo looked. Any breed or mix works. See the custom cat plush page.
Memorial pets

The Pekingese was made at the owner’s request in memory of a dog who passed away, with handmade eyes and nose and a felted muzzle. A memorial toy has no deadline. Send the photos you have, even old ones, and we work from those.

If you’d rather hang it on the wall, we make needle-felted 3D portraits: your cat or dog sculpted in merino wool, leaning out of a wooden frame, with paw pads, claws and nose in hand-painted polymer clay. A name tag on the frame is possible. From $470, and it takes 3β4 weeks. More on the memorial pets and wall portraits pages.
Not only dogs and cats

The mouse has shaggy cream faux fur, a brown patch over one eye, a sculpted nose and long-fingered paws. A rat, a rabbit, a guinea pig or a parrot is sewn the same way. More animals of every kind are under realistic stuffed animals.
What you can choose
- Any size, from a corgi that sits on your palm to a dog that fills your lap.
- The pose: sitting, lying down, or a bendable body you can change.
- The coat, matched to your photos: short, long, curly, brindle, merle.
- Extras on request: a sound module, LED eyes, a name tag or an embroidered name. Extras change the price and the time.
Why people trust us with their pet
We’ve made toys to order since 2009, each one by hand, and a copy of someone’s own pet is the kind of work we take most personally.
You see photos of the finished toy before it ships. If it isn’t your pet when you open the box, you have 14 days to tell us, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the plush. The details are on our guarantee page.
Questions about pet plush
Yes. Send a few clear photos of your dog, cat or other pet: the front, the side, the back and close-ups of the markings and eyes. We sew one plush by hand from them, made to order for you, from $390. Making usually takes 2β4 weeks.
Close enough that you recognise your own dog or cat at a glance: the coat colours, the markings, the eye colour, the ear set. It’s a plush, not a photograph, so it will never be an exact copy. You see photos of the finished toy before it ships and tell us what to change.
Sharp, daylight photos with the whole pet in the frame: one from the front, one from each side, one from behind. Then close-ups of anything that makes your pet yours, like a spot over one eye, a crooked ear or a white tip on the tail. Phone photos are fine. If your pet has passed away, send what you have and we’ll work from that.
Yes, and some of the pets on this page were made for exactly that. Our Pekingese was sewn in memory of a dog who passed away. We can also needle-felt a 3D portrait of your pet in a wooden frame. There is no deadline on a memorial order. Take the time you need to pick the photos.
Yes. You can have a realistic copy or a cartoon-style version: simpler and rounder, with big eyes, still in your pet’s colors and markings. For the cartoon look, send us the sketch you’d like and we sew from it, or our artist draws one for you first as a plush-ready drawing. The rest doesn’t change. You send photos, we agree the look, and you see photos of the finished plush before it ships.
Faux fur and plush, matched to your pet’s coat: short and smooth for a whippet, long and curly for a maltipoo, fluffy for a Spitz. We never use real fur. Eyes are glass or plastic, noses are sculpted or felted, and some toys get bendable legs so they can sit or lie down. Everything we use is safe.
From $390. Size, coat length and extras like a poseable body change the price. Ask for a free quote and you’ll get the exact number with a time estimate.
Making usually takes 2β4 weeks, and the quote gives you a real estimate. We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7β20 business days, longer around the holidays. If it’s a gift for a date, tell us up front.
You approve photos of the finished toy before it ships, and we fix what looks off. After it arrives, you have 14 days to tell us, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the plush.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
