This monkey mascot plush started life as a logo. A client invented him as the face of their company and its lucky talisman, and in 2022 asked us to turn that flat graphic into a toy you can hold. We sewed him to order, for that one company, with every detail they asked for.
He is one of the loudest ideas we've ever been handed. Clashing colours, a wild grin, a slightly psychedelic look. Nothing about him is meant to be cute.
From a flat logo to a whole monkey
The logo is only a head: a pink and orange face, a black triangle nose, yellow lightning bolts in the eyes, a turquoise beard and an open mouth full of fangs. We kept all of it. The face pieces are cut from smooth plush and sewn on, so the lines stay as crisp as the drawing, and the eyes still carry those little lightning bolts.
A logo has no arms or legs, though, and a toy needs them. So he got long black faux fur limbs, a grey faux fur belly, a spiky brown crest on top and big turquoise hands and feet that match the beard. Put him next to the logo and you see the same character, only now he can sit on a desk and wave.
A talisman with a job
The client wanted him as a mascot that brings luck to whoever keeps him. With that face, he'd scare off bad news before it reaches the office.
What we could make for you
Send us your logo, a sketch or a few lines about your character. We'll work out the body the logo doesn't show, match your colours and sew the mascot by hand. More company toys live on our custom mascot plush page, and if your character only exists on paper, see how we make plush from drawings.
He is built from several kinds of fabric, picked to copy the logo's colours as closely as possible. Long, shaggy faux fur gives him the wild outline. Short, smooth plush keeps the face flat and graphic, like the original drawing.
- Black long-pile faux fur on the arms, legs and back
- Grey faux fur belly and inner limbs
- Turquoise faux fur beard, brown faux fur crest
- Pink, orange and brown plush face with a black triangle nose
- Sewn-on eyes with yellow lightning bolts, white fangs and a red tongue
- Turquoise plush hands and feet with stitched fingers
- Hypoallergenic fiberfill inside
For your mascot we can match brand colours, add an embroidered logo or name, or build in a sound module or LED lights on request.
A mascot plush usually takes 2–4 weeks to make, with a reserve for handmade surprises.
Most of that goes into the pattern. A logo shows the character from the front only, so we first work out the head as a solid shape and the body nobody drew.
When a company orders a batch, we always sew one prototype first. You approve it, and only then do we make the rest. If the mascot has to be ready for a launch or a trade show, tell us the date when you ask for a quote.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on the country, the carrier and customs. Around big holidays couriers slow down, so leave extra time.
Company mascots tend to have a date attached: an office party, a product launch, an anniversary, a booth at an exhibition. Add the making time to the shipping time and count back from that day. For year-end events, order by November 1.
The monkey travels packed so his crest and beard arrive in shape. You see photos of the finished mascot before it ships.
We've been making toys to order since 2009, and mascots for companies are a regular part of that work.
Before we start, we go through your logo with you: the colours, the size, the parts the logo doesn't show and the details that matter most. When the mascot is ready, you get photos of it before it ships, so you know exactly what is coming to your office.
Need the same mascot in large numbers? We also make plush prototypes and sewing patterns for factory production. The details are on our Patterns & Prototypes page.
