A sticker with a story
The customer sent us a screenshot from a chat. In it, a real-looking tabby sits up like a person, a wedge of cheese in one paw and a bottle in the other, giving the camera a heavy look. For the owner, that sticker comes with a funny story of their own. That's what made it worth turning into a toy.
In the sticker the bottle holds wine. Our cat got a tiny whisky bottle instead.
What we kept
He sits upright on his back legs, hugging his snacks to his chest. Grey faux fur with dark stripes on the head and back, round spots on a lighter belly, white toes, a thick striped tail. Then the face: half-closed eyes, a pink nose, long whiskers, and that look of a cat who'd like everyone to talk a bit quieter today.
He has already gone home to his owner. A one-of-a-kind handmade toy tied to a private joke, now sitting on somebody's couch. We made him at the end of 2024.

The cat is covered in soft grey faux fur, close to the tabby in the sticker. Longer fur around the cheeks and chest gives him that heavy, fluffy look. Darker stripes run over the head and back, and the round spots sit on a lighter, sandy belly.

A sticker cat like this one usually takes 2-4 weeks. That includes some spare time, because handwork doesn't always go to plan.
First we turn the flat picture into a pattern. A sticker shows one side only, so the back, the tail and the way he sits need working out before any fur is cut.
The face takes longest. A few millimetres on the eyelids decide whether he looks sleepy, sulky, or just bored.
