Two snowy cats with grey caps, green eyes and big black tails. This black and white cat plush pair was sewn by hand to order as portrait toys: realistic plush made to look like real pets, from their photos.
We don't keep cats on a shelf. Each one is made for one person, from pictures of one particular animal.
What a portrait toy is
A portrait toy isn't "a white cat". It's your white cat. The point is to catch the pet's character as well as its coat: the way it holds its head, how the ears sit, the look on its face.
Here that meant a long, fluffy white coat and grey-and-black tabby markings that sit only on the top of the head and the ears, a little different on each cat. Then the black tails, long and bushy, a lot of tail for a white cat. Breeders call this kind of coat, mostly white with colour on the head and tail, a van pattern.
And the eyes. Pale green, set so they seem to look straight into your soul. Add pink noses and pink toe pads and you've got two cats who look like they're about to ask for dinner.
Two of them, two moods
In the photos one stands guard with its tail up while the other lies in front. Then they get silly: one sits up tall while its friend rolls over on its back, paws in the air. Every piece we make comes out unique, down to the last tuft.
Your cat, kept for good
We make cats from photos of your own pets, so you can keep them forever in a cosy, warm form. Send a few clear pictures (face, side, back, any odd markings) and tell us the size you'd like. The price is per cat: from $415 each. The quote is free, and you see photos of the finished toy before it ships.
More cats we've sewn from photos: a lifelike black cat and a grey cat with green eyes. Dogs and other pets are in Pet Stuffed Animals.
The coat is long, soft faux fur in white, with grey and black markings on the head and ears that follow the pet's photos. The tails are thick black faux fur, as bushy as the real thing.
Green eyes, pink noses and pink toe pads finish the faces and paws. That's where a portrait toy is won or lost, so we spend the longest on them.
All our materials are premium and hypoallergenic. Faux fur only, never natural fur.
- Coat colour and markings matched to your cat's photos
- Eye colour to match: green, amber, copper, blue or odd eyes
- Any pose: lying, sitting, standing, curled up
- On request: wire in the legs for posing, an embroidered name or a sound module
A cat plush from photos usually takes 2-4 weeks. A pair, a bigger size or tricky markings can add a little time, and we'll give you the date when we quote.
First we study your photos and draw a pattern for your cat's shape and pose. Then the faux fur is cut, the markings are matched, and the toy is sewn and stuffed. The face comes last.
You see photos of the finished cat before it ships and can ask for changes, like a darker cap or a fluffier tail. Got a birthday in mind? Mention the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once your cat plush leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7-20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier.
Around the holidays parcels move slower, so leave some extra time. For Christmas, order by November 1.
A plush of the family cat makes a lovely birthday or anniversary present, or a gift for someone who moved away from their pet. Add the making time to the shipping time and count back from your date. We'll check it fits before you pay anything.
We've made toys to order since 2009. With a pet portrait, the owner knows every whisker, and a wrong cap or the wrong green in the eyes means it isn't their cat.
That's why you approve photos of the finished plush before it's packed and can ask us to fix anything. If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
