This eagle plush has the beak of a serious bird of prey and the eyes of someone who just heard a strange noise. The hooked beak is big, glossy and black. Above it sit two round white eyes, looking up and off to the side. The rest of him is shaggy reddish-brown faux fur, a cream belly, and a pair of orange feet with black claws. We sewed him to order in 2016, and there's only one. We don't keep ready toys on a shelf. We make the one you ask for.
Beak and talons
On a cartoon eagle the beak and the feet do most of the talking, so we spent the most time on them. The beak is a smooth, shiny shape with a hooked tip and an orange band where it meets the face. The feet are built from rounded segments, like real scaly bird toes, and each toe ends in a long curved black claw. They're big on purpose. He stands on them without help.
The fur
The head, back and wings are long-pile brown faux fur. Ginger tufts poke out on top of the head, along the chest and in the tail, and the tail has a dark brown band near the tip. Lower down the belly turns cream, then white and fluffy around the legs.

For your eagle we pick fabrics from your photos or drawing. Wire in the neck, wings or legs for posing is possible on request.
An eagle like this usually takes 2-4 weeks, with a small reserve for handwork surprises.
The beak and the feet take the longest. The beak has to sit at the right angle or the whole face changes. Every toe segment on the feet is shaped by hand.
You get photos of the finished toy before it ships. If you need it by a certain date, tell us in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Once your eagle leaves the studio, delivery usually takes 7 to 20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier.
Holidays slow the post down, and December is the slowest month. For Christmas, order by November 1. More ideas are on our custom Christmas plush page.
For a birthday or any other date, tell us when you need him and we'll say straight away whether sewing and shipping fit.
We've been sewing toys to order since 2009. On a bird like this we check that the beak sits straight and the feet hold him up steady.
You see photos of your eagle before it's packed and can ask for changes then. If it arrives and you don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
