Custom Character Dolls From Your Pictures
Sewn by hand in our studio from the screenshot, film still or drawing you send
Some characters never get a doll. Others get a small official one that looks nothing like the character you love. We sew custom character dolls by hand, one at a time, from a screenshot, a film still, a book illustration or a drawing you send us. There’s no shelf of ready dolls here. Every doll is made to order for one person, from their pictures and their wishes. One of ours even came with a spare head.
How it works
- Send pictures of your character through the quote form below. Screenshots, film stills, book pages and fan art all work. Tell us the size and the outfit you want.
- Get a free quote with a time estimate. Character dolls start from $390.
- Approve the design. When a character needs adapting for fabric, our artist draws the doll first. Nothing is cut until you say yes.
- We sew it by hand. Making usually takes 2–4 weeks.
- See photos before it ships. If something looks off, we change it. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days.

Every Doll Here Started as Someone's Idea
Ellen and Viola: two dolls, one spare head

Sheba lives in Australia and loves The Witch’s House, a free horror game. For a long time she looked for dolls of its two girls and found nothing, so we made them. One has long blonde braids, a white apron and a blue skirt. The other has lavender hair, a big red bow and a red dress.
The game has a dark twist, and so does one of the dolls. She came with a second head and a second pair of legs: one set bloody, one set clean, so the doll can go from calm to scary and back. See Ellen and Viola.
I’d been trying to find plush dolls of Ellen and Viola from the free horror game The Witch’s House for a long time without success when I finally stumbled upon Skazkodrom… Impeccable craftsmanship and attention to detail, and excellent communicators.

Carmelita Fox: a collector’s doll with a whole wardrobe

The Interpol inspector from the Sly Cooper games is one of the most detailed dolls we’ve made. The first Carmelita stands 23 inches tall. A wire frame inside lets her hold a pose, her eyes are painted by hand and her dark blue hair is natural wool.
Her owner wanted every piece of clothing to come off, so she has a wardrobe: the cropped yellow jacket with blue pants, a black sequin evening dress, blue satin pajamas and a red polka-dot robe.
A newer Carmelita followed, with a different face, jointed limbs and eyes that open and close. She wears a red coat with white fur trim or a long red satin gown. A doll like this is priced from $2,500, and most of that is hand work. Meet Carmelita.
Two dolls from Oz

This Scarecrow wears his crown. It’s silver and set with green stones, from the part of the story where he’s left to rule the Emerald City.
Under it: a stitched face with big round eyes and an orange nose, straw poking out at the neck and wrists, a bright blue coat with red buttons, white gloves and black boots. See the Scarecrow King doll.
His friend is the Tin Man, called the Iron Woodcutter in the Russian retelling of Oz. His body is silver with rivets and bronze trim, he wears a funnel hat, and his arms and legs are jointed so he can sit, stand or lean on his axe. See the Iron Woodcutter doll.
Baby Yoda with a sculpted face

Grogu from The Mandalorian needed a face fabric can’t make on its own. His face is sculpted from clay and painted with acrylics, and his big eyes are handmade too.
There’s a frame inside his body, arms and legs, so you can sit him down and bend his fingers. He’s about 26 cm (10 inches) tall and wears a handmade robe and scarf. See the Baby Yoda doll.
Poseable art dolls for grown-up fans

Some character dolls are made for adult collectors. Renamon from Digimon is built on a fabric-covered frame with jointed limbs, so she poses any way you like. Her fluffy tail and chest fur are faux fur, and her blue eyes are painted by hand.
Jenny, the cat from Aldebaran in Bucky O’Hare, has long pink hair and green eyes. Her outfits come off, so she can switch between a black catsuit and silver armor.
Book and cartoon heroes you can hug

Not every character doll is a shelf piece.
Greg Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid is a cuddly soft toy: a big round head with a tuft of black hair, a grey T-shirt, black shorts, a red backpack and a red book under his arm. Obelix has his red braids, a green belt and blue-and-white striped trousers, sewn from a frame of the cartoon.
Oskar from School for Vampires is a long-legged rag doll with embroidered eyes and two tiny fangs. And Kuro from Tekkonkinkreet has his goggles, a black T-shirt, orange shorts, bandaged arms and blue sneakers.
What you can choose
- Any character from a film, a series, a game, a book, a comic or an anime. Your own character works too, see OC plush.
- Any size, from a small shelf doll to one big enough to hug. Our Baby Yoda is about 10 inches, our first Carmelita 23.
- Soft or poseable. A floppy soft doll, or one with a frame and jointed limbs that holds a pose.
- Outfits that come off, a spare head, props from the story.
- Extras on request: a sound module, LED lights, embroidery or a printed message. Extras change the price and the time.

Why fans trust us with their favorite character
We’ve been making toys to order since 2009, more than 2,100 of them. Every doll is sewn by hand, and your pictures and messages stay private. We’re an independent studio, so a doll of a known character is a handmade fan piece, not official merchandise.
And if it isn’t your character when you open the box, you have 14 days to tell us, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the doll. The details are on our guarantee page.
Questions about custom character dolls
Usually, yes. Send pictures and tell us which version you mean: an outfit, a season, a scene. If the character only exists in 2D, our artist draws the doll first and you approve it.
From $390. Size, detail and extra outfits change the price. A collector’s doll with a frame and a full wardrobe costs much more. The quote is free.
Yes, if you want it to. We can build a frame with jointed limbs or put wire inside, and sew outfits that come off like real clothes.
Any size you ask for. Tell us where the doll will live and we’ll suggest a size.
Making usually takes 2–4 weeks, and you get a real estimate with the quote. We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, longer around the holidays.
Yes. We send photos of the finished doll. If something looks off, we change it, and nothing is packed until you say it’s right.
Tell us within 14 days, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the doll.
Two kinds. Soft plush dolls with a sewn or embroidered face, like Greg Heffley or Obelix. And art dolls on a frame with a sculpted, hand-painted face, like Carmelita or Baby Yoda. Both are made to order from your pictures. Tell us which look you want, or send the pictures and we’ll suggest one.
No. We’re an independent studio. A doll of a known character is a handmade fan piece, sewn for you alone. We don’t sell copies of it.

Custom toys start from $350.
A bigger size or extra details can cost more.
Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
