A Custom Plush of Your TV Show or Movie Character

Sewn by hand in our studio from the screenshots, poster or photo you send

A TV show or movie character plush is your favorite character from the screen, sewn by hand as a real soft toy. The tiger from a Christmas special you taped off TV, the alien from the sitcom, the villain the toy shops skipped. We make each one to order for one person. Nothing waits on a shelf.

  • Price: from $300. The quote is free.
  • Time: usually 2–4 weeks to make, then 7–20 business days of delivery. Longer around the holidays.
  • Photos before it ships: you check the finished toy against your pictures. If something is off, we fix it first.
  • Full refund: if it arrives and you don’t love it, tell us within 14 days.

What to send

  • Screenshots, a poster, a DVD cover or fan art. A photo of the old toy you had as a kid works too.
  • Several angles if you can find them. The back and the sides are the parts nobody draws.
  • The size you’d like, and anything you want changed: eye color, an outfit from one episode, a prop in the paws.

Plush, doll or felted figure

A shaggy alien wants to be a soft plush. A vampire in a suit and monocle looks best as a felted figure with real proportions. A baby alien from a space western got a sculpted face and a frame inside, so his fingers bend. Tell us where the toy will live, on a bed or on a collector’s shelf, and we’ll suggest the build.

How it works

  1. Send the pictures through the quote form.
  2. Get a free quote with a time estimate.
  3. Agree the details. Size, pose, colors, any extras.
  4. We make it by hand. Usually 2–4 weeks.
  5. See photos before it ships. If something looks off, we fix it.

Cartoon characters have their own pages: toys from animated films, anime plushies and video game characters. Sesame Street and the Muppets are in Muppet plush toys. If the toy you’re after is one you owned and lost, see lost toy replicas.

TV and Movie Characters We've Made

The Christmas special that never got a toy

Rugby Tiger plush from The Christmas Toy with his friend Mew the mouse, both handmade to order
Rugby Tiger and his friend Mew from The Christmas Toy, both sewn to order.

Jim Henson’s The Christmas Toy aired on ABC on December 6, 1986, and a lot of kids wanted a Rugby Tiger of their own. The stores never had one.

Ours has orange fur with brown stripes, a white belly, a shaggy white ruff and green eyes. One went to Dex in the USA, whose review sits on Rugby’s page. Mew, the grey catnip mouse on a wheel, is sewn to match him, so the two can go under the tree together.

An alien from the 80s

Handmade ALF plush from the 1980s TV show, sewn to order with shaggy golden-brown fur and a wrinkled snout
ALF from the 1980s sitcom, with his long snout and shaggy fur.

Our ALF plush is the sitcom alien from the planet Melmac: long snout, floppy ears, shaggy fur all over. For most people who order him, ALF is their childhood. So we match the face against the screenshots before the first cut.

The friendliest vampire on Sesame Street

Count von Count plush, a handmade felt doll made to order: purple face, fangs, black suit and green cape
Count von Count needle-felted from wool: lavender face, monocle, black suit and green cape.

The Count von Count in our photos is needle-felted from wool, with a lavender face, two white fangs, a monocle, a black suit with a red and yellow sash, and the green cape standing up behind his head. He first appeared on Sesame Street on November 13, 1972, and a lot of grown-ups still count along.

If you want him on the shelf for Halloween, ask early: making usually takes 2–4 weeks, plus delivery.

His neighbors are here too: a Grover with shaggy blue fur, sewn for a fan who wanted him since he was a kid, a Cookie Monster with googly eyes and a plush cookie for his mouth, and a Kermit the Frog in bright green felt. The whole gang is in our Muppet plush toys.

Star Wars and Marvel

General Grievous plush, handmade to order: cream bone mask, amber eyes, navy velvet cloak, long claws
General Grievous plush with a bone-white mask, amber eyes and a dark cloak, made to order.

We first sewed General Grievous in 2011 and have made him three times since: bone mask, dark cloak, long cream limbs with separate fingers, amber or green eyes. A soft toy wants to be round, and Grievous is all angles, so the mask and the claws get most of the hours.

Custom Baby Yoda doll (Grogu) from The Mandalorian, handmade to order with a sculpted clay face and a beige robe
Baby Yoda doll with a sculpted, hand-painted face and handmade robes.

Our Baby Yoda is about 26 cm, with a face sculpted from clay and painted with acrylics, a frame inside so he sits and his fingers bend, and handmade clothes. The Baby Groot is needle-felted wool, about 45 cm tall, with grooved bark and a small red heart held to his chest. Pick the dancing pot version if that’s your Groot.

Dragons, sky bison and a daredevil

Toothless plush with his pink tongue out and yellow-green eyes, a handmade Night Fury sewn to order
Toothless with his pink tongue out, sewn from fleece with wings that fold and spread.

We’ve sewn Toothless more than once. The first stands 45 cm tall and 60 cm long, in fleece, with a wire skeleton in the paws and wings so he can stand or crouch. The 2024 one has his tongue out, fleece with eco-leather for a soft sheen, and huge yellow-green eyes.

Custom Appa plush, handmade to order: shaggy white sky bison with a grey muzzle, black horns and brown toes
Appa the sky bison with six legs, long white faux fur and the brown arrow, sewn to order.

Appa has all six legs, long white faux fur over a dark grey belly, the brown arrow from his head to his tail and curved black horns. Fans mostly want him bigger than the store version, and size is the easy part here.

Custom Kick Buttowski plush toy, made to order: white faux-leather suit, blue boots, riding a striped skateboard
Kick Buttowski plush in a white faux-leather jumpsuit and helmet, with his own skateboard.

Kick Buttowski came with a white faux-leather jumpsuit, a padded helmet, gloves with every finger sewn on its own and a skateboard of his own. In the cartoon his boots are yellow. This customer wanted blue, so blue they are. That’s how ordering works.

Villains, rats and a monster with a railgun

Fat Cat Rescue Rangers plush, handmade to order: purple coat, blue vest, red tie and a gold ruby pendant
Fat Cat from Rescue Rangers in his purple coat, blue vest and ruby pendant.

Fat Cat, the crime boss from Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, wears a purple coat with an orange lining, a blue vest, a red tie and a pendant with a red jewel. The only official Fat Cat plush we could find is a palm-sized Tsum Tsum from Japan.

From the same show, Gadget Hackwrench comes with her goggles and a plush wrench taller than she is.

Uzi from Murder Drones wears her whole outfit: a knitted beanie with a pom-pom, purple hair, striped leg warmers, lace-up boots and a railgun she can hold. Mr. Poopybutthole from Rick and Morty keeps his yellow suit and his cheerful grin.

Scooby-Doo is brown with black spots and his blue collar. Rattus Rattus, the rat from Horrible Histories, is about 20 cm tall with a black cap that comes off. Domo-kun, the brown box monster from Japanese TV, keeps the zigzag teeth.

Movie monsters and a very big bear

Two sharks from the Jaws films live here: one Jaws 2 shark with an inner frame and handmade eyes and teeth, and a Jaws-inspired shark with an open mouth full of bloody teeth.

Our Ted is a 160 cm fleece bear, a remake of the one from the movie, and Winnie the Pooh from the Christopher Robin film is a 20-inch jointed mohair bear with a faded honey coat.

Dolls from the Land of Oz

Custom Iron Woodcutter doll, the Tin Man from Oz, handmade to order with a silver riveted body and funnel hat
The Iron Woodcutter, a Tin Man doll from Oz with articulated limbs and a conical hat.

The Iron Woodcutter has articulated limbs, a riveted torso and his conical hat. The Scarecrow King wears a silver crown with gems, a blue coat and white gloves. Both are collector’s dolls rather than hugging toys, and more like them are in our character dolls.

What you can choose

  • Any size, from a 20 cm rat for a desk to a 160 cm bear.
  • The build: sewn plush, needle-felted wool, or a doll with a sculpted face.
  • Your version: colors from the episode you remember, an outfit, a prop in the paws.
  • Extras on request: a wire frame for poses, a sound module, LED eyes, a name embroidered on the toy. Extras change the price and the time.

Why fans trust us with their character

We’ve made toys to order since 2009, each one by hand, and a character toy lives or dies on the face. So you see photos of the finished toy before it ships and tell us what to change.

We’re an independent studio: every character on this page is a handmade fan piece made for one person, not licensed merchandise. If the toy arrives and it isn’t your character, you have 14 days to tell us, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the toy. The details are on our guarantee page.

Questions about TV show and movie character plush

Can you make a plush of any TV show or movie character?2026-09-29T12:00:00+03:00

Almost any. Send screenshots or a poster through the quote form and tell us which version you mean: the 1986 special, the reboot, or the way you remember him. We make one toy by hand from your pictures, made to order for you, from $300. Characters that never got a shop plush are our usual work.

How much does a custom character plush cost?2026-09-29T12:00:01+03:00

From $300. Size, the amount of detail, a sculpted face or a felted build, and extras like a sound module, LED eyes or poseable limbs change the price. Ask for a free quote and you get the exact number with a time estimate.

Is it an official plush?2026-09-29T12:00:02+03:00

No. We’re an independent studio, so every character we make is a handmade fan piece for one person, not licensed merchandise. That’s why we can make a Rugby Tiger, a Mew or a Fat Cat, the ones the official toy lines never made.

What pictures should I send?2026-09-29T12:00:03+03:00

Whatever you have: screenshots, a DVD cover, official art, fan art, a photo of an old toy. Several angles help. If one detail matters to you, the monocle, the green eyes, the wheel on the mouse, say so and we build around it.

How big can it be?2026-09-29T12:00:04+03:00

Any size you ask for. Our Rattus Rattus is about 20 cm, our Toothless 45 cm tall and 60 cm long, and our Ted bear stands 160 cm. Tell us the size you have in mind and the quote matches it.

Plush or doll: which one should I order?2026-09-29T12:00:05+03:00

A soft plush for characters you want to hug: Rugby, ALF, Appa, Scooby-Doo. A felted or sculpted doll for characters with a face and an outfit, like our Count von Count or Baby Yoda. Those hold their shape and look best on a shelf. Unsure? Send the pictures and we’ll suggest one.

Can the toy hold a pose, talk or light up?2026-09-29T12:00:06+03:00

Yes, on request. A wire frame in the arms, legs, wings or tail lets the toy stand, sit or hold a prop. A sound module and LED eyes are possible too. Extras change the price and the time, so mention them when you ask for a quote.

How long does it take?2026-09-29T12:00:07+03:00

Making usually takes 2–4 weeks, and the quote gives you a real estimate. We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, longer around the holidays. If it’s a gift for Halloween or Christmas, write to us early.

What if I don’t love it?2026-09-29T12:00:08+03:00

You approve photos of the finished toy before it ships, and we fix what looks off. After it arrives, you have 14 days to tell us, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the toy.

More answers are in our FAQ. Have a character you’ve always wanted to hold? Send a screenshot with the quote form and tell us the size.

Custom toys start from $350.
A bigger size or extra details can cost more.

Why?

No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.

Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.

Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.

You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.

One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.

That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
