Undertale fans have wished for an Omega Flowey plush for years, half as a joke. He's a final boss with pipes, teeth and too many eyes, hardly the usual shelf toy. This one was made to order. A customer sent us a piece of fan art, and we sewed the boss by hand into a soft toy you can actually hug. One toy, for one person.
The boss nobody expected to see as a toy
In Undertale, Toby Fox's 2015 indie game, Flowey starts out as a smiling yellow flower. At the end of a Neutral run he takes the six human SOULs and turns into this: a machine, a plant and something with too many eyes, all at once. Fans first called it Photoshop Flowey, because the sprite looks pieced together from photos. Its designer was the artist Everdraed. The fight plays tricks on you too. The game seems to close, a fake save file appears, and you call for help with ACT while "Your Best Nightmare" plays.
Every part, in fabric
We kept what fans recognize at a glance. A black TV box sits on top with Flowey's pixel grin and red diamond eyes on the screen. Grey ribbed pipes loop around it. Four eyeball pods with green irises stare out, and the beige snout opens into two long jaws lined with teeth. On each side, a fluffy green cactus arm with gold spikes and leafy vines ends in three red claws. Behind the head, two green stalks bristle with pink thorns.
The fan art was flat and drawn from the front. A plush has to work from every side, so we worked out how the pipes connect, how the arms rest and how the heavy head stays upright. That's where the real pattern work went.

The body of this Omega Flowey is soft plush fabric: black for the TV box, cream for the screen, beige for the snout and the eyeball pods, grey for the pipes. Dark stitched lines mark the ribs on every pipe, so they read as tubes.
The cactus arms are shaggy green faux fur (we never use natural fur), dotted with small gold spikes and thin leafy vines. Each arm ends in three red claws. The stalks behind the head are a smoother, darker green with pink thorns.
