This Faerie Dragon plush is the purple dragon from Heroes of Might and Magic III, the one with butterfly wings and a sweet face. Some players just call it "the purple dragon." This one was ordered as a birthday gift, and we sewed it to order, for that one customer. That's how every toy here works. You send a picture and tell us what you want. Nothing sits on a shelf waiting.
Who the Faerie Dragon is
The Faerie Dragon joined Heroes III with the Armageddon's Blade expansion in 1999. It's a level 7 neutral creature you hire at the Magic Forest. It doesn't breathe fire. It casts a random attack spell instead, from Magic Arrow to Meteor Shower, and a built-in Magic Mirror can throw enemy spells back. The game's own description calls these dragons "deceptively cute," and that's exactly it. Fans either adore the big eyes or joke about a dragon wearing makeup. Both camps remember it.
What we sewed
- A shiny purple body with a gold belly, like the game sprite
- Sparkly holographic silver wings instead of the game's yellow-green ones
- Big yellow eyes with blue pupils, gold antennae and a crown of little horns
- Gold claws on all four feet and a long curled tail
It stands 48 cm (about 19 in) to the top of its head. A copper wire frame runs through the whole body, so it keeps its balance and holds a pose: rearing up, paws raised, head turned. On request we also sewed in a pocket for a voice module, so a recorded voice can live inside the dragon.
Your dragon, your way
Want it in the game's original wing colors, bigger, or next to our Ancient Behemoth, another Heroes 3 creature? Send screenshots and tell us. We can change the size, add LED eyes, a sound module or an embroidered name, and you get photos of the finished toy before it ships. More dragons, from Spyro to original characters, are in dragon plushies.
We're an independent studio. This is a handmade fan piece, not an official Heroes of Might and Magic product.
This Faerie Dragon is made to shine the way the game sprite does:
- Stretchy knit with a glossy latex finish for the purple body, so light runs along the curves
- Gold faux leather details
- Holographic silver fabric for the wings, which catch every lamp in the room
- A copper wire frame inside, so the neck, legs and tail bend and stay put
The filling is soft, hypoallergenic holofiber, packed around the frame so the dragon stands on its own. If a design calls for fur, we use faux fur only.
Want the wings closer to the game's yellow-green, a darker purple or a sound module inside? Say so at the start. Those choices go in while we sew, not after.
A Faerie Dragon plush usually takes 3β4 weeks to make.
The wire frame gets planned first. It has to bend at the neck, the shoulders and the tail and still carry the weight of a rearing dragon. We draw the pattern around it, then cut the glossy body pieces, the wings and the gold details.
The face comes last: the eyes, the antennae, the little horns. The time frame keeps a small reserve for handmade surprises, so if it's for a birthday, tell us the date in your first message.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7β20 business days, depending on your country and the carrier. Around the holidays couriers slow down, so allow extra time.
This dragon was a birthday gift, and that's a common reason to order one. Add the making time to the delivery time and count back from the day. For Christmas, order by November 1.
Before it leaves, we send you photos of the finished dragon. We pack it so the antennae, horns and wings arrive in shape.
We've been sewing custom plush since 2009. Many orders are creatures no store has ever made, and a Heroes 3 dragon from a 1999 expansion is a good example.
Heroes fans know these sprites pixel by pixel, so you see photos of your dragon before it ships. If you still don't love it, you get a full refund within 14 days, for any reason.
Not sure about the size, the wing color or the pose? Ask before we start. A detail is much easier to get right in the pattern than to fix later.

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
