Your Cartoon Character, Sewn as a Plush
Custom cartoon character plush, made to order from a frame of the film
The cartoon character you loved as a kid often never got a plush. Or the one in the shops is palm-sized, sold out, or looks only a little like the character on screen.
We sew cartoon character plush and stuffed animals by hand, one at a time, from a frame of the film, a screenshot or a drawing you send. There’s no shelf of ready toys here. Every toy is made to order for one person: your character, your version, your size.
How it works
- Send pictures of your character through the quote form below. Film stills, screenshots, posters and drawings all work. Tell us which version you mean and how big.
- Get a free quote with a time estimate. Cartoon plush starts from $315.
- Approve the design. We agree on the fabrics, the colors and the pose before anything is cut.
- We sew it by hand. Making usually takes 2β4 weeks.
- See photos before it ships. If something looks off, we fix it. Delivery usually takes 7β20 business days.

The Stories Behind Our Cartoon Plushies
Rescue Rangers and the Disney afternoon

The heroes got the toys. The villain didn’t. The only official Fat Cat plush we could find is a palm-sized Tsum Tsum sold in Japan in 2018, so we sewed the grey tabby crime boss standing on his own feet, in his purple coat and red tie. Gadget Hackwrench came out twice: once blonde, leaning on a big grey wrench, and once taller, with orange hair. In 2011 a young man asked for a Gadget with his girlfriend’s face for her birthday. That Gadget look-alike doll was our first toy with a portrait likeness.
From the same afternoons on TV: Scrooge McDuck with his cane, and Zummi Gummi from Adventures of the Gummi Bears, with his glasses, hat and red cape with a gold “G”.
Big-screen animation

Most Toothless plush toys are made to sit on a shelf. Ours stands 45 cm tall and 60 cm long, with wire in his paws and wings so he can sit, crouch or spread them wide. The newest one, from 2024, sticks out a pink tongue.
In Rise of the Guardians the elves never say a word. The bells on their hats do the talking. Our Guardians elf has the pointy red hat, the bell and the big ears, and Sandy from the same film is here too. Stitch is 35 cm tall, with a wire frame in his arms, legs and ears so he can change poses. The fluffy unicorn from Despicable Me is about 50 cm long.
Classified, the wolf from Penguins of Madagascar, has his arms crossed and his eyebrows doing the talking. More from the movies: Bolt, a Minion, a one-eyed green monster, Antonio’s jaguar from Encanto, Snowball from The Secret Life of Pets, a tiger and a snake in martial arts robes (Kung Fu Animals) and the fox from The Little Prince, about 45 cm long.
From storybooks to cartoons

If you grew up outside Russia, you may not know Tryam. He’s the hedgehog from Sergei Kozlov’s fairy tales, who dreams of a sea of his own in the 1982 cartoon Autumn Ships. Ours was an “I love you” gift: a mane of ginger faux fur, a red felt heart on one foot and a zip pocket hidden in his spines for a surprise.
Oskar from School for Vampires faints at the sight of blood. We sewed him long-legged, with embroidered eyes, one a little bigger than the other, and his green jacket. More book heroes who made it to the screen: Obelix with red braids and striped trousers, Greg Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, the Gruffalo, Pooh in a red shirt and Bill the Lizard from Alice in Wonderland, who pops up with his ladder in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Croakagy is the villain from the Russian film Space Dogs: Return to Earth. More are in book character stuffed animals.
Anime and Studio Ghibli

Totoro was one of the first characters we sewed after opening in 2009, and no two have come out alike. The latest has charcoal-grey fur, a huge stitched grin and both arms up.
Fans call Mitty from Made in Abyss cute and horrifying in the same sentence. Ours is soft pink fleece with a shaggy faux-fur fringe, a long coral tongue and glossy black claws. From the same abyss there’s a chibi Ozen. Also here: Sasuke and Itachi from Naruto, Kuro from Tekkonkinkreet, Renamon from Digimon, Detective Pikachu and Domo-kun, who started in NHK’s stop-motion clips in 1998. See all of them in custom anime plush.
TV cartoons we grew up with

Kick Buttowski ran on Disney XD for two seasons, and a Kick plush isn’t something you can pick up in a toy shop. Ours has a white faux-leather jumpsuit, a padded helmet and his own little skateboard. In the cartoon his boots are yellow. This fan picked blue.
You can buy an official Appa, but people ask us for a bigger one, or one closer to the show: six legs, long white faux fur and the brown arrow down his back. Jerry from Tom and Jerry hugs a red heart with a pet name embroidered on it. Princess Luna from My Little Pony stands on four long legs, with a deep blue mane streaked with violet, and Lord Tirek came from the same show.
There’s also the Pink Panther, Scooby-Doo, Patrick Star, Aku from Samurai Jack, Princess Monster Wife from Adventure Time, the frog from Over the Garden Wall, Jenny from Bucky O’Hare, and from the Sonic cartoons, Sally Acorn and a Dr. Eggman almost as tall as the boy he was made for.
Cartoons for grown-ups
Uzi from Murder Drones comes with a knitted beanie with a pom-pom, purple hair and a railgun she can hold. The rest of this corner: Mr. Poopybutthole from Rick and Morty, the Hormone Monster from Big Mouth and a gang of South Park kids.
What you can choose
- Any character from any cartoon or animated film, a big studio hit or a show only you remember.
- Which version. The classic look, the remake, or your own colors.
- Any size, from a desk plush up.
- Soft or poseable. A floppy soft toy, or a wire frame so it stands and holds a pose.
- A message. We can embroider a name or a word, like the pet name on Jerry’s heart.
- Extras on request: props, a sound module, LED lights, a hidden pocket. Extras change the price and the time.
Live-action heroes are in TV show and movie characters, game characters in video game plushies, and animals that walk and dress like people in furry plush. Characters that are really dolls sit in character dolls, and your own drawings go to plush from drawings.
Why fans trust us with their character
We’ve made toys to order since 2009, more than 2,100 of them, each sewn by hand. We’re an independent studio, so a plush of a cartoon character is a handmade fan piece, not official merchandise.
If it isn’t your character when you open the box, you have 14 days to tell us, for any reason. You get a full refund and keep the plush. The details are on our guarantee page.
Questions about custom cartoon plush

Why?
No ready-made pattern. Your photo or drawing doesn’t come with one. Our artist builds the pattern from scratch and turns a flat picture into a 3D toy. It’s the hardest and slowest part.
Materials picked for your toy. The right color, fur length and texture. Sometimes we order fabric just for one project.
Sewn by hand. Every piece is cut, sewn, stuffed and finished by hand. The face takes the most time: move an eye a millimeter and the character changes.
You approve it first. When your toy is ready, we send you photos. Something looks off? We fix it before shipping.
One toy, not a thousand. A factory spreads design costs over thousands of copies. Here, all that work goes into one toy: yours.
That’s why prices start at $350. And on a personal order, if you don’t love your toy, you get a full refund.
