This honey badger plush is a company mascot. A team that runs children's camps and events ordered it in 2024 before flying to an international camp forum in China. We sewed it to order, from their own sketch. Nothing like it existed, not even a pattern.
Why a honey badger
The team sat down to brainstorm what their mascot should stand for. Their answer: they're the punks of the business world. They had fallen and got back up, tried everything and kept going. So the mascot had to be a little wild, but kind and upbeat at heart.
Who's the wildest animal out there? The honey badger. The Guinness Book of Records once named it the most fearless animal in the world, and it still looks like a cuddly badger in a funny cap. The team swapped the cap for a mohawk, dressed him in the company colours and told him to live.
A week to the forum
Their designers had a couple of sketches. Then someone looked at the calendar: the forum was a week away. Other makers said no. No pattern, everything from scratch. Our answer was "unlikely", which isn't a no. The director heard the price and said "okay". The rough sketch and a short brief came to us, and the badger made it to China.
In the drawing he had turned into a sly little trickster, and the team wanted the toy exactly like that: ready to say "rar", then let you squeeze the soft belly with the logo on it.
What's on him
Black faux fur, a white stripe over the head and down the back, and a long teal mohawk that runs along the spine to the tip of the tail. Blue eyes, a grin full of small white teeth, long clawed fingers. The company logo sits on a round teal patch on his tummy.

The honey badger is sewn from soft faux fur in three colours. Black for the body, white for the stripe, and a long-pile teal for the mohawk and tail.

A mascot plush usually takes 2–4 weeks. That covers the pattern, the sewing and the face, which is where a mascot gets its character.
This badger was a rush job: the team had about a week before the forum. We can't promise that every time. A new animal means a new pattern, and the pattern takes the longest.
If your mascot has a fixed date, like a forum, a launch or a camp season, tell us the date when you ask for a quote. We'll say honestly whether it fits.
We ship worldwide. Delivery usually takes 7–20 business days, depending on the country, the carrier and customs. Couriers slow down around big holidays, so leave extra time.
Mascots almost always travel to something: a conference stand, a trade show, the first day of camp. Add the making time to the shipping and count back from that day. For year-end projects, order by November 1.
You get photos of the finished mascot before it ships, so the team can see it before it lands on the desk.
